May 18 -Join us for our fabulous Herman Humanitarians Awards Brunch! Celebrate BCC's 36th anniversary and outstanding honorees with thrilling entertainment, an outstanding auction, and scrumptious food. All benefiting the programs and services of BCC! Ticket order form available online. Join Rabbi Lisa Edwards for Torah Study Thursdays from 7pm - 9pm. Everyone is invited to just “drop-in” to study Torah. No experience is required. May 4, 10am All 20's and 30's members are welcome to join for a morning of enjoying the beautiful outdoors with a refreshing hike through Runyon Canyon. May 10 Machzor Workshop with Student Rabbi Joe Hample, 3-5pm. We will (1) discuss Yom Kippur liturgy, and (2) share recommended updates for the Days of Awe Supplement. May 30, Ruach Chayim (Spirit of Life), Musical Shabbat Service. Welcome Shabbat with drum, with song, with open heart. Saturday, May 31 6pm. Women's Havurah Game Night. Please RSVP. June 6 Pride Shabbat and Monthly Pre-Shabbat Dinner, 6:30pm. Meet at Thai House, 8657 West Pico Blvd. (a few blocks west of BCC) to share a delicious, informal, self-pay dinner. All new friends and visitors to BCC are welcome! Followed by Shabbat Services at BCC at 8pm.
