#FamiliesBelongTogether: Help the Migrant Families in Texas, Arizona and California
Do you have clothes that no longer fit, toys that need to be played and stuffed animals that need to be hugged?
Are you willing to go out and get items to help the children and parents who’ve been torn apart from each other at the border?
See below for a list of needed items. Bring them to BCC to be sent in a group package or send care packages directly to:

What do the families need?
Toiletries (deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, combs, etc.) for adults and children
Shoes (sandals, tennis shoes, loafers, etc) for men, women, children and infants of all sizes
Clothes (pants, t-shirts, blouses, underclothing, etc) for children and adults of all sizes, small sizes for adults
Baby supplies for toddlers (Pampers, baby wipes, baby bottles)
Sealed snack food (granola bars, chips, peanut butter & cheese crackers, etc)
Drawstring knapsacks for sandwiches, snacks and water
Toys and stuffed animals
What else can you do?
ONE: Sign the State of Moral Emergency petition, sponsored by by Bend the Arc with IKAR, Tru’ah, URJ’s Religious Action Center, HIAS and ADL
TWO: Attend the #FamiliesBelongTogether National Day of Action on June 30, 2018. For details, click HERE.
THREE: Register for the North American Immigration Justice Campaign’s Deportation Defense Training on July 10, 2018. For details, click HERE.
FOUR: Include one of these prayers into your weekly Shabbat service.
FIVE: Call and/or write your elected representatives to tell them that you are Jewish and oppose this policy.
