Friday, June 19

Virtual Trans Pride Los Angeles (7:00pm)
Events include the Big Queer Convo, with Isis King interviewed by Alexandra Billings and Gallery Opening/Salon hosted by curator Micah Bazant and poet féi hernandez.

Saturday, June 20

Virtual Trans Pride Los Angeles (12:00pm)
Events include an online community resource fair, interactive “Wall of Hope,” Trans History presented by the ONE Archives, a VarieTy Show and Virtual Community Hang Out.

Dear ONE: Love and Longing in Mid-Century Queer America (3:00pm)
A virtual performance of excerpts that illuminates the lives of ordinary Queer Americans as recounted through letters written between 1953 and 1965, to L.A.’s ONE Magazine, the first openly gay & lesbian periodical in the United States. With George Takei, Michelle C. Bonilla, Nicky Endres, JP Karliak, and Michael A. Shepperd.

Wednesday, June 24

It Gets Better: A Digital Pride Experience (2:00pm)
The It Gets Better Project will partner with musicians, artists, beauty and fitness experts, actors, gamers, drag queens and more from around the world to present a three-day Pride extravaganza June 24-26.

Saturday, June 27

NewStages and LA LGBT Senior Services present “Out of the Dark” (7:00pm)
In this evening of stories and songs, LGBTQ+ elders will explore the closet, what is risked by coming out, and how they began to live freely as a community.

ABC7 Presents: LA Pride 50th Anniversary Celebration (8:00pm)
Los Angeles’s first-ever virtual Pride Parade will air as a primetime special on ABC7, at abc7.com and streaming on the ABC7 Los Angeles app. The event will be hosted by ABC7 Eyewitness News anchors Ellen Leyva and Brandi Hitt, with special guest host, actress Raven-Symoné, and correspondent Karl Schmid.

Queer History Trivia – Pride Edition (12:00pm)
Celebrating Pride with a Jeopardy-style trivia game with questions and answers about the last 50 years of the LGBTQ rights movement.

Tuesday, June 30

“Circus of Books” Virtual Panel Discussion (6:00pm)
A panel discussion about the documentary profiling gay bookstore Circus of Books. The store was cultivated and cared for by its owners, Karen and Barry Mason; a straight couple with three children.



Sunday, May 31st, 12 pm: 50th Anniversary of PRIDE Virtual Parade
Join BCC Clergy, LGBTQ+ Activists, Organizations, Political Leaders, and Celebrities from coast to coast for the virtual procession with.THE LAVENDER EFFECT® Live on Zoom and Facebook. http://www.thelavendereffect.org/events/ Legendary Transgender Activist & Actress, Alexandra Billings will be the Virtual Pride Parade’s Grand Marshall & Host. Saturday, June 6: Families Pride
Join us on Saturday, June 6, for a virtual Pride/ShavuotPalooza experience! We may need to practice physical distancing, but we can close the social distance and celebrate the joys of Shavuot and Pride Month as a community even from our own homes! The teachers and clergy of BCC are planning an exciting virtual experience for our final Palooza program of the year – families with children ages 0-18 are invited to join us for a rousing send-off into Pride Month & summer!
