BCC’s (Non)Traditional Egalitarian Virtual Minyan
Saturday, May 16th,

In response to the unprecedented need to keep physical distance to minimize the spread of the coronavirus, we are going to have a very non-traditional minyan by Zoom. As always, all BCC members and friends are invited to join. To join, click this link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/89094040511 Meeting ID: 890 9404 051.
There’s a partial online version of the prayer book that will help everyone participate. https://agudasachimic.org/wp-content/uploads/sites/172/2011/10/shabbat%20morning.pdf. As always in BCC’s monthly minyan, there will be a Torah discussion. We’ll distribute a link to the text to discuss at the beginning of the minyan.
Saturday, April 18th,  10 to 11:30 am
Community first. As many of you know, BCC’s monthly minyan was known for many years as the Traditional Egalitarian Minyan. We used that name to capture that the minyan would use more Hebrew and be more, well Conservative-style, than BCC’s other services. But we also wanted to convey that the service would be committed to egalitarian values. At the time, gender-neutrality was not wide spread, another area where BCC was a leader.
Now, in response to the unprecedented need to keep physical distance to minimize the spread of the coronavirus, we are going to have a very non-traditional minyan. By Zoom. As always, all BCC members and friends are invited to join the minyan.
To join, click this link https://zoom.us/j/97299618157 Meeting ID: 972 9961 8157 or dial (669) 900 9128 or (301) 715 8592 to call in.

Join this friendly, welcoming group of BCCers for a Saturday morning service, with a fully transliterated prayer book, allows those of us just getting familiar with a Shabbat morning service to follow along easily. Services are followed by a potluck vegetarian lunch.  New friends and guests are welcome to join.

Our next minyan: Saturday, July 16 at 10am.

Future dates (3rd Shabbat of the month):  9/17, 10/15, 11/19.

(no minyan on 8/20)
