Ruach Chayim: Extra-Musical Shabbat
On the last Friday of the month, at our usual 8pm service, we hold a special Shabbat experience: BCC’s “Ruach Chayim” service welcomes Shabbat with guitar, drum, song, and open heart. BCC is known for the spiritual and musical way in which we share and experience Judaism. We invite you to this new take on an age-old tradition! This service is a participatory and spiritually welcoming Shabbat in the best of BCC’s tradition. Bring friends, neighbors, co-workers, loved ones, and anyone in your life to learn the new melodies along with us.
Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, Ruach Chayim services will be held on Zoom. Register at the Shabbat Service link above.
Saturday Morning Services
Saturday morning Shabbat services, every 3rd Saturday of the month, 10 am – noon.
Join us for traditional-style Shabbat morning services infused with BCC’s informal, welcoming spirit and the warmth of community. Rousing melodies, Torah reading, and insightful discussion of the week’s Torah portion. Learners welcome. Once you try it, you won’t want to miss it. Kiddush and vegetarian potluck always follows the service.
Due to the Covid 19 Pandemic, we are conducting Shabbat Morning Services via Zoom. To register to attend, please CLICK HERE.
Marking Our Days

Contact us if you would like to participate in services (please let us know at least a week in advance). BCC is lay-affirming; we welcome the engagement of the community in creating sacred space.
